3rd Class Poetry
Ms. Lawlor's class wrote beautiful poems in class recently. Here are just two examples of the children's wonderful work.

I went to the beach today
And had a look around.
While adjectives swam in the sea,
Nouns and verbs covered the ground.
The giant waves splashing,
The bright sun flashing.
The small fish swimming.
The dry rocks skimming.
The slow birds flying.
The soft sand drying.
The big crab walking.
The happy kids talking.
The sad dad sleeping.
The energetic people leaping.

I went to the beach today
And had a look around.
While adjectives swam in the sea,
Nouns and verbs covered the ground.
The angry kid splashing,
The bright sun flashing,
The bouncing ball skimming,
The happy girl swimming,
The funny man spying,
The friendly bird flying,
The calm dog walking,
The noisy seagull squawking,
The sleepy boy sleeping,
The kind Mom sweeping.
